"thoroughly enjoyed this latest book by Anna Marie Morgan and her D.I.Giles series. The storyline based in Edinburgh rather than the detective's usual stomping ground was a brilliant concept and she did not disappoint. The story was very contemporary up to the minute in fact with this covid19 and problems at Faslane. I loved the book and the concept I am looking forward to where Ms Morgan will develop her next book in the series. Cannot wait. This is an author that I follow with pleasure!"
" Loved it. Yvonne travels to Edinburgh to stand with Tasha when an old friend is murdered. More murders happen and a terrorist plot is uncovered."

Book 14 in the DI Giles Series.
A newly-retired detective from the Met is murdered in a murky alley in Edinburgh, a sinister calling card left with the body.
The dead man had been a close friend of psychologist Tasha Phillips, giving her her first gig with the Met decades before.
Tasha begs DI Yvonne Giles to aid the Scottish police in solving the case.
In unfamiliar territory, and with a ruthless killer haunting the streets, the DI plunges herself into one of the darkest, most terrifying cases of her career. Who, exactly, is The Poet?
